Poor quality

My husband bought me a snow glob for Mother's Day. The engraving was not readable and the placket was falling off. The quality of this gift was horrible for the price. I ended up returning the item. So sad as this store used to have great stuff.

Stay away

Company is awful. Been to North attleboro a few times this week and walked out every time. No help, never asked me if I need any. Which usually when I have been in there they do. The associate on Sunday 3/21 and a few days before is the reason I walked out and will not return. Sitting on counter on phone. Even when I was looking at wedding things she glanced over and said how are you and i immediatly left. She couldn't keep her eyes open or so it looked. Both times looked like she was on something. Braintree is a far drive but I will go to that instead. Do you not drug test employees? Re training for better customer service.

Everything looks terrible within a few years

My family and I have purchased many many many things from things remembered throughout the years. My daughter got a beautiful $150 snow globe for her baptism the water is completely yellow and disgusting looking it is 4 years old. She got another snow globe from her grandmother for her birthday that's two years old the water is yellow and disgusting. I have been married five years the engraved serving set knife and champagne glasses the silver has awful looking spots all over them that do not come off with any kind of Polish they look terrible and the rhinestones are falling out they actually looked like that immediately after the first use and they were properly hand washed and dried. My wedding silver picture frame has turned an orange bronze color and will not polish clean. My daughter has a small jewelry box that has also turned an orange bronze and will not polish clean. My mom has a massive snow globe that is at least 15 years old the water is completely yellow and most of the water is evaporated it is stored in a glass cabinet nowhere near the sun. My mom has picture frames four of them to be exact from our confirmation and they have all turned an orange color after 15 years. Their items look beautiful they're a little bit on the expensive side which I don't mind at all however nothing lasts. Things remembered specializes in keepsake items keepsake items are meant to last for years and years you are lucky if you get a year out of them. And by the way if something goes wrong with your items over the one year warranty you are offered nothing with no solution in fixing your items. Imagine the server set that your mother gave you for your wedding that you planned on cutting all of your cakes with and serving your desserts throughout your married life looks absolutely awful and you don't even want your mom to see it because she spent so much money on it and then had it engraved for you and now it's completely deteriorating. Every time I see it in the drawer and take it out to slice a dessert I'm immediately remembered by how upset I am that it looks the way it does. Seriously as beautiful as the items are at the store do not purchase them they are all crap. I'd be more than happy to share hundreds of photos with you of all the items throughout the years I've bought that have fallen apart.

Wine glasses

I purchased 2 iridescent engraved wine glasses for my best friend for Xmas. The glasses came in bubble wrap, which is great but what happened to them coming in gift boxes. Am I to put them in a gift bag so they can break. Does not look right to give it still bubble wrapped. Unattractive.

Amazing Team Associate

I have purchased items from Things Remembered for many years now. I have had a few mishaps that were always corrected with little to no hassle. I recently tried the engraving service at the St. Matthew's Mall location without buying the product from Things Remembered due to my gift recipient requesting a YETI tumbler which Things Remembered does not carry. I had to leave my YETI at the store as they were unable to engrave it that day. When I returned a few days later, I found that the engraving was incorrect. I was extremely upset because I drove so far and had to go inside the mall during this pandemic only to find that a tumbler that I paid $30 for was ruined. Miranda, the store teammate was absolutely amazing. She looked up the order and found that the engraving was done incorrectly. She promised me she would fix it and she did. Less than 3 days later, I received a box at my door with my YETI tumbler. The engraving was amazing and better than I expected. Miranda not only went above and beyond, she showed patience and understanding, while also training a fellow teammate. I truly hope Things Remembered rewards Miranda for her great customer service. This is why I continue to purchase items from Things Remembered, they appreciate their customers and stand by their promise of customer satisfaction. Thank you, Miranda!

Constant Emails, average product...

Product purchased was OK, not great, but constant emails, after many unsubscribe requests is ridiculous.
Can't stop emails. I will never buy again from this place.

Awesome Service!

These times that we are living in is extremely hard to plan on anything because of COVID-19, especially weddings. With wedding plans shifting due to wedding hall restrictions, I called to change the etching on a pair of beautiful champagne glasses that was already ordered. Customer service found my glasses in production, quickly changed the writing on the glasses just in case the wedding had to be moved. She was very pleasant and went beyond her job to ensure that at least we could count one wedding plan going right! The glasses are so very beautiful

Memorial flag holder

I had my father's flag from Arlington framed with an engraved plaque at the Things Remembered at Trumbull Mall, CT. It was ready withing an hour of ordering and cheaper than anything else online.

Sales associate gave poor service

Lack of communication between online order and store pick up. Order was marked for pick up today but was unavailable due to "current circumstances" without warning that the product would not be ready by the posted date.

Corroded "Things Remembered

I bought a serving set and two engraved flutes for my wedding in 2014 for $175. I pulled them out recently to find they are all corroded. I called customer service, they asked what I stored them in and when I told them I stored them in the boxes they gave me, they told me they stopped using those because they tend to trap moisture in. The fact that they knew this tells me this has been an issue in the past and despite this being the fault of their "moisture trapping" boxes, they said that after six years, there is nothing they can do. For a store who sells things to be remembered, I expect a longer shelf life than six years. Both the serving set and flutes were only used once, cleaned well and according to the instructions, then dried and put back in their boxes. I don't recommend getting anything from things remembered because who knows what it will look like when you pull it out again to "remember".
